Was supposed to upload this in August but uhh... wahoo

Description

The Yokosuka K5Y is the premier intermediate trainer aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy during WWII, it is a twin-seat single engine biplane entering service in 1934. The plane is powered by a Amakaze 340hp radial engine powering it up to 200km/h at sea level, it is also capable of performing demanding aerobatics. The plane would see service thoroughout the war, with one credited with sinking the USS Callaghan by means of Kamikaze, it was also in service with the Indonesian Air Force, using it in the infamous July 1947 raid in Ambarawa.

In this SimplePlanes version, it is a slightly updated version of the same plane I featured in my independence day video, now it has one fixed machine gun and one defensive machine gun, updated bomb models, and a slightly different propeller. It is a fairly slow plane (as expected) and looses speed quickly in any kind of maneuver, but it can pull some AoAs and is fairly maneuverable despite the low speed. Admittedly the handling a bit jank, though it can still fly relatively okay, be mindful during takeoffs as it likes to yaw itself to one side so anticipate accordingly, regardless, I hope you can enjoy and appreciate this little plane. Happy flying!
