An experiment in design, trying to work out a way to have an 'armored' propeller engine without XML editing because they seem to be very vulnerable (easily hurt) to well, just about anything really.

Inside the black 'casing' is a bunch of the tiny Blade T1000 motors, how many I don't know, as I lost count and does it really matter anyway as long as it flies?

This plane can scrape along the ground and the motors are safe because of the casing.

I have bounced it off of the runway and it took a little damage but kept going.

Controls as per normal, flies a little downwards, has a fairly high landing speed, but you can land it.

Not very pretty or polished, but it flies fairly well.

The black casing is made up of Structural Panels, with the white sections being fuselage pieces because wings don't connect to Structural Panels and with this sort of construction you have to be careful to not have things poking into the engine space, otherwise things go boom.
