About 9M-VAB:

AirAsia itself chose the A321neo, so it can meet growing passenger demand, increase capacity, and improve fuel efficiency. This then became the largest A321neo order in the world, with a total order of 362 aircraft. 9M-VAB is AirAsia’s first A321neo to feature the base livery.

This specific aircraft had its first flight on 10/12/2019, is 5.3 years old (as of posting), and was tested at Hamburg’s Airbus-Finkenwerder Airport (XFW/EDHI), with the test registration D-AVXV. It’s MSN is 9248.
