Bandit UH-2G Trojan
VTOL controls rotor pitch. The UH-2 Trojan, updated for 1.6. The C&C roleplay's equivalent to the classic Huey. Originally designated HU-2, it acquired the nickname "Hooter". Despite the fact this designation was quickly changed to UH-2, the name stuck.
Serving in conflicts around the world, the rugged and reliable Trojan would become a symbol in its own right. Where the Paternian Army went, the Hooter tagged along, as well as its numerous variants. It would serve in Paternian service well into the 21st century, before its replacement by lightweight tiltrotors.
This particular example is a dedicated troop transport variant, holding 6-9 fully-equipped infantrymen. ASW, air ambulance, gunship, and electronic warfare variants exist, and may appear in the future.

@DragonAerotech It's available on PC.
@Pilotmario I appreciate the invite, but I don't have discord. I'm still in the Skype age. Wait isn't discord a program for android or something? I don't even carry a cell phone - yes I'm a living fossil. lol
@DragonAerotech Yes. In fact, I do have a high-efficiency turbine pack somewhere here. Comes in 1x, 2x, 5x, 10x, & 20x power. The only factor is that the are eerily quiet, so much so that you could hear the airflow around the airframe.
Alternatively, modded and practically infinite fuel is the order of the day, and is allowed. More convenient.
Plenty of aircraft options available as well from other factions. IRL aircraft are allowed, provided that it was available during said time period. Current time period changes, although is typically during or after the jet age.
We talk more often on Discord. Here's the server invite. Lasts forever.

@Pilotmario 14 factions with 6-8 being active? That's not too bad, a lot better than the forty or fifty in that second C&C game I was in. (I think about a baker's dozen were consistently active, most representing the US, Canada and Nazi Germany.) Build quality was an area I think I did pretty well in on the second C&C game although I think there were a couple of lemons. My jets in the first C&C game had REALLY short flight durations and were pretty generic. Do you know if there are modded jet engines that take up less fuel? I think the fuel consumption for some of the jet engines in the game are a bit off - especially the turbojets.
@DragonAerotech 14 factions, of which 6-8 are active. The moderator does take things into account well, often on build quality.
@Pilotmario See, that's a better way to run it I think. How many participating parties do you have in the C&C game and how is the moderator at taking each party into account?
@DragonAerotech Oh. This one is more a yelling match in comparison, where we state our force disposition, and both sides have a go at it. The only moderator we really have is for war, and he's pretty neutral. Takes into account of all the abilities of each nation.
There are several factions which tend to have more power and influence than others. These tend to dominate politics and war, often using smaller nations as puppets.
No weapons are technically banned as long as it is technologically feasible for the time era, although the use of nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons are highly discouraged. Excessive spam is generally frowned upon, although is considered acceptable if the nation's logistical capacity is capable of supporting it.
Real-world factors such as logistics and geography play an important part. Politics also play their part, with plenty of backstabbing, spying, and secret treaties. You'll make enemies that way though.
@Pilotmario Ah, I see! I'm not entirely sure what all that would entail. I've been in two so-called RPs. Neither ending left a particularly good taste in my mouth as the narrator behind both disregarded comments regarding diplomacy, took into account planned tactical maneuvers, strategic endeavors. One ended abruptly, with an extreme one-sided bias without any cross exchange. The other ended when my tactical strategies and impending strategic plans were completely rendered moot when the narrator threw out the rule concerning no atomic weaponry with the bizarre and obviously biased position towards the enemy that an atomic weapon could only be delivered if launched from a base within 100 miles of the territory of the targeted nation to achieve a win/capitulation. (Their side was primarily engaging ours in a tactical capacity and while we were meeting them in kind we were developing strategic capabilities that with some creativity/imagination could have reached out and put the hurt on the enemy's homeland.) Thus I tapped out.
Command and Conquer. @DragonAerotech
@Pilotmario C&C? Command & Control? O.o
@DragonAerotech Yep. C&C to be specific.
@Pilotmario Glad to be back, its been quite a while, I've just been busy with other stuff. Are you still doing SP's role-plays?
Glad to see you around! @DragonAerotech
Thanks! @Flash0of0green
@Pilotmario Great use of the new Gyroscope! I finally successfully landed a helicopter! lol
@Pilotmario congrats on reaching 100K.
@Liquidfox Thanks!
Thanks! @AverroesIndustries
Ah... My friend, have we definitely come a long way, You've hit a milestone many wish to.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
It still doesn't fly.
@Pilotmario okay.
VTOL up to control rate of ascent. @BroAeronautics
It doesn't leave the ground. How do you fly it?
@MediciAviation243 About that...
There is a gunship version of this. While officially known as Trojan, aircrews often refer to it as "Trojan Horse" due to the visual similarities with the Trojan. Like the Trojan Horse, enemy forces often mistook heavily-armed gunship Trojans for lightly-armed transport Trojans, with predictable results.
Better watch out for the Trojan Horse!
