About this plane in the real world

The origin of bf-109 is the fighter design competition of the German air force in the 1930s. There are three other types of aircraft participating in the competition: fw-159, ar-80 and he-112. Bf-109 was designed by Bavaria aircraft factory. In July 1938, Bavaria aircraft factory was renamed as messeschmitt aircraft factory. Therefore, bf-109 was also renamed as ME-109, but it is still generally called bf-109. In the design, the most advanced aerodynamic shape, retractable landing gear, retractable cockpit cover, automatic flap, lower single wing, etc. were adopted. In the test, they defeated other competitors with indisputable advantages, and began production in 1936. The first model was bf-109b.
