@F4f879 Oh,you need not do this ,your plane is good,so I up it.
For the upvotes! @JKLMN
@F4f879 why?
Thanks! @JKLMN
So, the first thing you do is make the nose of the plane and get the shape just how you like it. You seem to have that part down extremely well judging from your P-38. Next, take a fuselage piece and set its length to however long you want the cockpit to be. Make that fuselage have either curved or hard corners, and make its width 0.1 and height 0.25 on both sides. Then, you will have to place this block on the side of where you want the cockpit to be. Mirror it to the other side, and then move the block a few units down and to the side while rotating it ever so slightly to keep a rounded shape. Mirror this piece and continue the steps until you have a suitable opening for you to build your open cockpit. Hope this helps dude! (If I was unclear just ask) @Helicopterboy
@tsampoy thanks!
@F4f879 I know what you mean, it's completely annoying
Yeah that's right, I did that with my Su-27... But I couldn't get it to look right with this plane because it has a cockpit camera and a WSO camera so one of their views would've been blocked @Ryn176
@F4f879 True, i usually cover them with nose fuselage, the camera will clip through it, as long as you you only use one nose cone
Thanks! But yeah drag gets a little out of control with open cockpits :) @Ryn176
Nice!, but a little too much drag on the cockpit
No worries bud! @Thepilot172
Thanks man! @Thepilot172
They're little fuselage pieces with the dimensions 0.1x0.5 on each side with a 0.25 length and curved corners. I use them by placing one and then rotating the next one slightly and continuing the process to get kind of a curved look @Thomasj041
Yeah. @F4f879
I'm sorry, I don't understand. Do you mean the little loop things? @Thomasj041
Any explanation on how to make rounded cockpit canopies?
@F4f879 sounds good man, can't wait to see what you and phanps cook up (if you guys collab of course)
I think I'll go back to WWII after a possible collab with phanps @EpicPigster1
@F4f879 nooooooooooo lol
@phanps
