The Dragonfly was an experimental bomber designed to take out very large targets as fast as possible. It’s large bomb capacity combined with its lightning-fast bank time make it ideal for attacking aircraft carriers and similar water targets. Due to its moving tail, in can rise several thousand feet in seconds. It can land very smoothly and is excellent at water takeoff and landing.
It usually carries two 500-pound bombs as well as two air-to-ground missiles. It has been tested on the Ice Base Assault and by sinking the USS Beast.
