Auto Credit Based on Franticmatty's XPLANE Challenge! [CLOSED!]
An aircraft entry for the X-Plane Challenge. The design was inspired by Ace Combat's Fenrir, hence the nickname Garmr, the blood-stained guardian wolf of Hel's Gate from Norse Mythology; Fenrir is also Norse, the monstrous wolf destined to kill Odin.
The AXF-91 is designed to have decent maneuverability, especially with flaps completely lowered. Top speed is 930+mph at sea level, 1100~mph at 10000ft and 1200~mph at 20000ft. However, the wings tend to flex at high speeds, so the redline for the AXF is at around 1300-1400mph. Trimming is also necessary to control the plane's upwards pitch at high speeds.
