Ring Wing

The name and screen shot say it all really.
The wings are rings.
Sort of a follow on from the Curve Wing, which flew so well, especially without the cladding on the wings.
I might upload a 'bare wing' version of that, just because.

Controls as per normal.
No XML used, except for the wing control surfaces of course.

If you plan on tweaking this, be warned, DO NOT USE MIRROR. For some reason it causes things to fall off that were firmly in place when you spawn into the game, which leads to explosions. Pretty, but noisy.

No more info, I'm finding that people like surprises.

Not that there are any with this. Flies slightly down, trim for level flight.
Limited flight time, due to normal fuselage tank being used.

    @atgxtg Sure no problem at all, it's an odd design after all.

    @Mickk Do you mind if I try something really odd with it? I got the idea for a variable geometry ring wing.
    Oh, and the ring wing works great with a prop engine, especially with a pair of them.

    @Badplanesdotnet
    Well, thanks, I think.
    @atgxtg
    Things like this occasionally come to me for some reason.
    This one comes mostly from a previous design that flew amazingly well, but hasn't attracted that much interest. lol

    I could have, yes.
    It is an entirely experimental design and covering it up would make it harder for people to see how it works.
    I was not even sure it would fly at all when I started.
    The panels making up the wings have been made a little wider, but are no longer than what they are when you take them out of the box.
    The difference in angle between one panel and the next is exactly 18 degrees.
    If the panels were a different length or the angle was different, even by a little bit, it doesn't work.

    Edit: what I mean by "doesn't work" is that you would end up having to use an odd sized/angled panel in order to make the ring complete.
