About the plane

The Solent S-160 is a norwegian-built supersonic swingwing jet with space for up to 11 passengers and 2 pilots. In a private business jet-layout, it will be able to hold 4-6 passengers (there will be a followup to this post in which he cabin is in a businessjet-configuration. The version 5 has an improved flight deck, easier handling characteristics due to an extra «control engine» and overall it just feels better than version 4. (for me at least)

Design

the design of this aircraft is, even down to the livery, heavily based on the «Carreidas C160 from the comic «Flight 719 to Sydney», but with a full glass cockpit and sprinkles of my own style.

Things you should know

Takeoff Speed: ~180 kmh (97 knots) with full flaps, ~150 km/h (81 knots) with full flaps and PitchUpHelp
Landing Speed: ~160 km/h~(86 knots) with full flaps, ~140 km/h (76 knots) with full flaps and PitchUpHelp
once Turbo is on:
Throttle.......100%
Wingsweep.....full
Speed.....Pitch for 1280 km/h (691 knots)
Speed.....Pitch for 1500 km/h (810 knots)

• The plane is so stable that once you set the trim to 1.0G in cruise, you don't really have to do anything more and can just sit back and relax.
• the flaps/wingsweep can also be used as trim if the speed is below 630 km/h (340 knots)
• This Thing can confidently pull 45G without stalling or disintegrating (the people on board aren't important here)
• VTOL to adjust wingsweep and flaps

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT

do NOT turn on the in-game-Autopilot or decrease the wingsweep if turbo is on, as it will completely bug out the game and make the plane uncontrollable and sometimes crash the game.
