Before flying, press 1 to release VTOL engine. This sheds weight and makes quadcopter easier to control. The VTOL RCNs will still work! The quadcopter will then just barely hover at about 39% throttle, most of the time I fly at about 43%. It can take off of from and land in water, but be gentle! I also recommend cockpit view for greatest ease of control. If you run out of fuel, press 2 to activate parachutes to come to a soft landing.
