After the production of the AR-89 Klinge reached a peak in its success, the world needed a new hypermanueverable attack fighter. Enter the FA-8X, a multi-role interceptor meant for everything from close support strafing runs to air superiority roles. Modeled after the AR-89, the FA-X8 has a different paintjob and a more powerful photon PRC cannon, known to tear enemy craft apart while disabling their electronics. A new version is also in production, known as the FV-X1 Program, creating a new class of stealth fighters that will turn the tide against the war on interstellar terrorist forces.
