F-17K1
REPORT: The F-17K1 was the high altitude interceptor variant of the already versatile F-17. The first flight took place on September 19, 1990. On the USS Supernova, the sister ship to the USS Beast. The intial flight adressed problems which were harsh to deal with, but easily fixed. In comparison to the F-17, manuverability was close to that of the F-17, but greatly surpassed that of which after passing 35,000 feet. The low altitude speed was nearly identical to the F-17, but at high altitudes this is unknown. Pilot [REDACTED] enjoyed the handling of the aircraft, but was rather baffled by the low manuverability. The landing was rather dangerous, and the problems were fixed thereafter.
Crew reports:
“I was baffled by the inferior maneuverability, but it handled well, nonetheless.” -Pilot [REDACTED]
“The problems feel fixed after the work they did. It’s combat ready.” -Pilot James Dapperfield
“It’s ready! Also can someone create a custom paint job for this?” -Pilot/Squadron leader Florence “Falling Star” Montgomery
