Based on the T-33, the Lockheed F-94 Starfire was an interceptor designed used by the US in the 1950s. The Starfire was a two-seat, all-weather, radar-equipped aircraft purpose built to shoot down Russian bombers should the Cold War turn hot. It carried an incredible array of no less than 30 mighty mouse rockets. The aircraft was both the first two seat combat aircraft to break the speed of sound in a dive, and the first production fighter to use a parachute.
