:Fictional history only!: Designed to go only Mach 1, the new replacement for the F/A-18 Super Hornet, the F/A-19 Wasp, actually goes Mach 2. The jet is only in its testing phase as of right now but will be fully integrated into the role of the current F/A-18's in use. It was an idea made from the thought of an even more upgraded version of the Super Hornet that is in usage now by the Navy. This warbird is able to go +1600 mph in a straight line and with fully functional Horizontal Stabilizers is mostly maneuverable at high speeds and will be able to carry 2 fuel tanks, 2 bombs, and 4 missiles.

REMINDER: THIS AIRCRAFT IS FULLY FICTIONAL AND WILL NOT BE REAL (unless some general or someone high in the ranks sees this then it possibly will be) BUT STILL IT IS ONLY FICTION!

Would you mind some suggested improvements? Hopefully you won't. Switch the main wings to symmetrical this stops the pitching up. Move the rear wheels forward to near the COM so you can lift off far quicker as the tail goes down. Reduce the range of movement in the tailplane to 15 degrees as 45 is too much. Fit airbrakes towards the rear of the plane you have so much thrust you need to be able to dump speed quicker. This all done and it's a good little plane.
