Proposed as a replacement to the venerable Hawk T.2, the Sparrowhawk is ideally suited as a Fast Jet Trainer. its flap and airbrake configuration, combined with advanced aerodynamics, allow for advanced maneuvers to be practised, while a low stall speed of around 120kts and forgiving handling characteristics helps reduce training casualties. Seen here in pre-delivery Grey. Pylons provided for conversion to the F.4 and GR.4 variants. AG1 to enable nosewheel turning, AG3 for airbrakes and VTOL for flaps.
