1940s American challenge Boeing 377 Stratocruiser

Auto Credit Based on EpicPigster1's 1940's American Plane Challenge!

This is my entry to the American 1940s challenge, the Boeing 377 Stratocruiser. The 377 first flew in 1947 and was itself derived from the B-29 bomber. Indeed they share many similar features, notably the tail and wings. It was in many ways quite sophisticated for its time having a pressurised cabin and two passenger decks. I had some issues trimming up that were further hampered by my tail art so apologies there. On take off I recommend not using the flaps and pushing the stick down until around 180mph. Inflight I would also recommend using flaps and trim and you should even out. AG1 for lights and tally ho!

@Tang0five Try lowering your wing loading by clipping more wings into the main ones. It helps :)

Thanks you, your too kind!@EpicPigster1. I seem to be having a mare at the minute trying to get planes to fly level without trim. I'm trying not to deviate from the designs too much though....

    SCORE TIME FOR @Tang0five!
    Design: 8.5/10.
It certainly looks the part, and it does look quite realistic. Bonus points for the livery, but the cockpit isn't the best. Quite good though.

    Flying Characteristics: 7/10.
Not fast enough, max speed I got was 299mph in a 10-degree dive. The actual plane did 375mph level. Also, it constantly noses down and takes forever to take off. Bonus points for the realistic handling, that's always nice.

    Realism: 9.5/10.
Looks very realistic, the fuselage, tailplane, and engines are very nice and realistic.

    Build Quality: 10/10.
Not much to say here. Pretty much spot on. Everything fits nicely, and nothing is poorly attached.

FINAL SCORE: 35/40. Very good build.
