Unlisted post made public because me and my man NicoBellic are stuck. Anyone can think of a solution to strengthen the gear switching system?
Heeeeeelp. Throttle is gas, Vtol up is release clutch. Starts in idle. Act1 first gear, act 2 second and Act3 third gear. The gear switching system simply isn't strong enough and has too much clearence when putting into gear and releasing clutch, so it moves about in every direction
So to be clear. You start in idle with no ag's on.
To put in first gear, press 1 and release clutch(VTOL up).
To switch to second, press clutch (VTOL down), activate 2 and DON'T deactivate 1. Then release clutch again.
To switch to third, press clutch, activate 3 (and don't deactivate 1 or 2 again) and release clutch again.
So switching gears should be done in steps. Keep this in mind, also when lowering gears (first deactivate 3, then 2, keeping clutch down while doing so) and when going back to idle, first press the clutch and then deactivate 1.

@P7VDS Oh thats good news! Yeah I've tried to make a V8 engine for too long and none of them worked. I'll try some other things soon 👍
Made a better gear system though. A bit is displayed at the ballet dancer already. Still a few problems to tackle though, but I'll keep you updated. Do you feel like trying to do a V configured piston engine? That'd be awesome if your could make that work!
