Despite being the most advanced cargo/passenger plane, in two years it became a disposable resource by the military as it can’t carry enough troops and supplies at the same time, so Messerscmitt and Junkers modified the plane from a cargo plane to a stragetic bomber for the Deutsche Luftwaffe to defend Germany from Soviet Union offensives. The Airforce loved it and bought 700 of it. However, the Reds know its potential so it started a campaign to sabotage factories and materials to deny the materialisation of the bomber, 552 were built. and a dozen survived.
