The CedCo Paternia C8 is a CedCo C8 produced in Paternia under CedCo Paternia, a subsidary of CedCo. Their products are both procured by both by all in Paternia. The C8 pickup truck is a popular truck in Paternia, and three-thousand are in Paternian Army service as light cavalry vehicles and light logistical vehicles. They are espeically suited to this role due to their ruggedness, reliability, (relatively) low cost, and high mobility in terrain that would hinder the use of larger vehicles. Oftentimes, ad hoc armor is applied in the field, taken from scrapped military vehicles or from ballistic plastic panels. Several armor kits are available for C8 trucks. While no match for dedicated combat vehicles such as tanks, they are still very useful for use with unconventional forces such as Scout Rangers or police forces such as Paternian Military Police or in some cases, the National Gendarme.
