Free Folding Wheels
I noticed Authros' P51 had slick retractable wheels and thought that would be a great contribution to the community. It is actually really easy to hack if you guys want to try your hand at the XML. Otherwise, this is for iOS users since I know you can't do that. You guys are all awesome and deserve fun parts to use! Please give feedback on how these work out for you.
Hats off to @Authoro for his wonderful plane and slick gear. Use VTOL to slide up or down, depending on the direction you want. Just add wings. For the tail you can add wings for a body or extend a nose cone. The wheel retracts neatly in the block of a nose cone when I tested this out. Note that you will not be able to attach wings to the rotaters themselves because they are "attached" to a part already (the wings for the wheels). Add your wing attachment to the block in front.
Note I made a small mistake with this. I should have hidden the bar on the back rotator before uploading. Let me know if that really bugs you.

109k WalrusAircraft@karlosdarkness - yeah, it probably comes from here. I'll make some more variations on this for everyone. I've been tied up with the Mikasa build recently :-) I'm also working on some big wheels right now for old school airplanes.9.6 years ago

17.4k karlosdarkness@WalrusAircraft I'm 70% sure this is where the gear came from (and your other landing gear makes for the folding wings) in Vanessa so I would like to say thanks yet again for your contributions to this community and invite you to come and have a fly of something that couldn't have happened without you: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/qFR7ru/Vintage-Naval-Strike-Aircraft-v1-19.6 years ago

0 Archer77@WalrusAircraft Great things these wheels. I just want to ask how did you make those "invisible bloks"?9.6 years ago

2,135 Asimov@WalrusAircraft K you should release a modded engine series9.7 years ago
-
109k WalrusAircraft@TheDocHoliday I have modded double props under my planes. I also have a VTOL with 10x the power that you can snag. You have to look through my submissions of modded parts.9.7 years ago

2,135 AsimovCould I request a modded large prop with double the output?9.7 years ago

1,144 DragonCreations@StealthBomber yeah,.I was also wo dering how to do it, but basically you tamper with the game files and make it do stuff you normally wouldn't be able to do on the normal version of the game.9.7 years ago

109k WalrusAircraft@ElijtheGeat - Maybe I should create an alternate account just so I can help users an ask Dev to disable ratings. I'll help you if you need custom stuff.9.7 years ago

14.0k ElijtheGeatneither, I build on an iPod :( @WalrusAircraft9.7 years ago
-
109k WalrusAircraft@ElijtheGeat - I'm afraid adjusting will cause parts to reset. I'm curious, do you have a PC or Android? This is something I can easily teach you. Thanks for the good question.9.7 years ago
-
14.0k ElijtheGeatThank you so much:) Will I have to leave them in the exact position that they are in if I cant change the XML? And will it hurt it if I take the wheels off and resize the strut thingy?9.7 years ago

25.5k ScriefersThanks bud. I think I might have to cave and start using modded parts. Seems like that's the road to take when building aesthetic planes these days. These will help! @WalrusAircraft9.7 years ago
-
109k WalrusAircraft@Scriefers - I made these with you in mind. You're a great builder and I hope this helps you on some future plane. Thanks for all your contributions to the community.9.7 years ago
