F85-B Bullshark 1.11
Chinese Aerospace Technology Corporation F85-B “Bullshark” Update 1.11
Hello!
Well, a long time has passed since my latest build (which I’m currently reworking for 1.11). in the meantime, I thought that the first aircraft that I upgraded (the FX85 Bullshark by ColonelStriker) also deserved some love so here it is… but not only fully reworked for 1.11 and VR, but also even closer to its stats! Before we continue, thank you @PlanariaLab and GuyFolk for the HUD, Fly-By-Wire and FT-based data panels and systems, full credit going to them
Features:
• Interactive Cockpit
• Fly-By-Wire • VTOL
• Tracking Guns
• Post-Stall maneuvers and Limited Supermaneuverability
• Mostly Unstable design
• Radar
• G-Force simulated view from cockpit
Controls:
• AG1: activate gun tracking (5-degree range)
• AG2: activate ARROW-19 missiles
• AG3: jettison all weapons (guns, missiles and rockets)
• AG4: gyro
• AG5: refuel probe
• AG6: deactivate 2-D vectoring thrust (nozzles will lock)
• AG7: navigation lights
• AG8: Fly-By-Wire system
Supermaneuverability and Stall:
Deactivate group 8 (Fly-By-Wire), hit brake and go wee wee (warning: doing this beyond mach 1.2 might make you go boom boom). When AG8 is off a red light will start blinking as a reminder.
Technical data:
Power: Dry Thrust 135kN, with afterburners is between 220 and 225kN
Speed: Mach 2.4, although can go a fit further

@WojakArgento
lol that's ok.
FT code for tvc for me usually the same code for control surfaces, just make sure you use the code that is for the same axis.
And FT for VYOL is nice but I think you get the normal flight FT right first and then add VTOL later just so you don't unnecessary confuse yourself.
@GuyFolk ohh I see. Sorry I misunderstood that only the Z axis had to be calculated and did not require further calculus depending on scale, I’ll get to fix that soon. Also you mentioned using FT in the TVC, in the first place thanks for the feedback, secondly any particular code do you recommend?? And it should be applied only to main thrust or also to the vtol nozzles used when hovering??
I think you miscalculate the HUD distance, there is a formula to calculate the distance of scaled HUD in Planarialab's page.
Now try writing FT code in tvc too, the plane will be a lot better.
This is a nice way to start FT and fbw, nice work.
@WojakArgento Also if you ever need it I could test some planes for you just Tag me.
@WojakArgento No not really.
@LarryTad thank you very much, i have spent almost 2 months refining and testing this, plus waiting for 1.11 and adapting the stuff i credited. Did you found anything that could be refined?
Awesome plane great job @WojakArgento!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also I forgot to say that this is my first post with custom screenshot and formated text! please leave any sugestions and suggerences of both the plane and post format here please
