Tupolev Tu-160 Blackjack
The Tu-160 bomber, item number 70, u?????? «70», NATO code name Blackjack, or Viking Flag, or Tupolev Tu-160, is a Soviet/Russian long-range strategic bomber with supersonic variants and swept-wings. The combat mode of Tu-160 bomber is mainly high-altitude subsonic cruise, low-altitude subsonic or high-altitude supersonic raid. At high altitude, Tu-160 bomber can launch long-range cruise missiles to attack outside the enemy air defense network. When serving as air defense suppression mission, it can fire short range missiles. The Tu-160 was developed by the Soviet Union's Tupolev Design Agency (now United Aerospace Corporation). It entered service in May 1987 and became operational in 1988. Its elegant appearance was dubbed the "White Swan.
