The Alpine Rotorwing II has increased range and power output of the thrust motors. Repositioned airbrakes allow for a full throttle shut down, airbrake open approach under the slowed decent of the main flight rotor. Flight rotor control via VTOL, although you can open it fully and just leave it open (or use it as trim). For take off, open the flight rotor power fully, then immediately open the thrust motors. at around 120mph a slight back pressure on the stick with lift the Rotorwing ... II into stable forwad flight. read more
