Background

The RNV-203 program was one which hoped to crate a lightweight hull capable of fitting on different turrets for different specialized roles in the 1960’s, in order to make production of new vehicles faster, and more cost efficient. The M2 was an SPAA design that used two low velocity 57mm cannons in a welded, lightly armored, box like turret. The 57mm ATT/22 was chosen for its already wide assortment of useable shell types (eliminating the need to create new ones), the most common on the M2 being DT073 (APHE), as well as radio fused shells (DT073B). About 120 of this variant were produced, performing well in their role as both anti air and infantry support.

Notes

-I thought it’d be cool to put an actual gun sight on this, and it came out pretty well, and it actually kinda works.

-This was originally supposed to be a ZSU-57-2 replica, then I decided that’d be too hard, then made a whole new turret for a whole new build, then thought that it really looked bad, so I just returned to the half made ZSU turret, and went on from there.

-The guns were a pain to make work properly, and they still shake slightly when rotating the turret. Doesn’t cause it to explode though thankfully

-reupload with a fix and cause I’m salty (only one I promise)
