The DC-3 is a passenger airliner developed in the 1930's and built right the way up to 1950. Aer Lingus, the flag carrier of Ireland, was an original operator of this iconic aircraft. They got their first DC-3 in 1940. The paint scheme on this plane is based of of what Aer Lingus used in 1950. Recently, in 2017, Aer Lingus unveiled a DC-3 in this same livery.
Functioning like a DC-3 would, the top speed is around the 160-200 mph. mark. The landing gear features three shocks in the main gear and a turning tail wheel. Once you've reached 90 mph, you will need to apply some rudder to keep the plane straight until you take off. The same applies for landing.
