Back to the red-tail style! (vertical stabilizer only). This aircraft is based heavily on Tupolev Tu-114 and Ilyushin Il-18.
Feature:
- Slotted flaps (does produce lift but just a little).
- No airbrakes (cuz it's 1960s!).
- Can glide for a while.
- Taxiing (but it's a little suck).
- Trim.
Flying instruction:
- Takeoff: AG1,2,3,4, 50% flaps, full throttle, rotate at 180mph.
- Landing: Full flaps, 50% trim down, landing at 170~180mph.
- Taxiing: AG2,3, De-AG1,4, use yaw to turn left/right.
And as usual, thanks for downloading and upvoting my aircraft! See you soon!

@PaderiegeZ got it. it shares fuselage with c-130, 165 inch diameter, round circle
cool, we can later use parts forc-130.
@PaderiegeZ no problem, just got an idea.
regarding c-141, could not still found the fuselage diameter, different sources either say 143 or 165 inch...
@vonhubert Well I'm currently making the c141 so I'd prefer not
@Hyperloop well, it is obviously resembles tu-114 as it id said. And tu-114 is a passenger plane based on tu-95 wings and landing gear
@PaderiegeZ or may be An-70 can be interesting
For me it looks like a Tu95 based.
Ok, just make it 1:1 scale, ill start the wings.
I'll try making a template for a fuselage diameter today if i can
@vonhubert Well, it looks good, I'll get started now
It ls possible, that i will be able to adapt it for a c-141. And i like how it looks. But hollow fuselage will be difficult to shape
in case of a cargo plane, i doubt we'll find one. Let me think and do some research )
@vonhubert Sounds good, ant other suggestions?
@vonhubert Well, I don't mind how long this takes, we could do a bit every day, but I could search for a plane with a similar wing shape as that one if you want.
on second thought, if you plan to make an interior, how about making some kind of a cargo airplane like c-141 or il-76, so we can make some kind of a car to fit inside? or may be, AN-22? love propellers
Well, would be interesting. I like this plane. But it will be slow, its wings are very complex (well like any boeings wings are))) Its a pity, they are very similiar to cv 880 i'm making now, but as the swept angle is a lot smaller in case of 767, it wont be possible to use em directly...

@vonhubert Since your good at wings and I'm good at interiors, why don't we make some sort of commercial airliner with an interior? I'd like to make a 767
@PaderiegeZ why not, if you have some patience) i've been overloaded with work recently... What do you suggest to make?
@vonhubert Would you like to do a collab?
@vonhubert "I'm very glad to see somebody make wings with realistic profile and flaps like i do usually" Cheeky, but true lol
Btw, turboprops dont need airbrakes, they use props in 0 position for that
I think its a bit too long) but seems totally great. I'm very glad to see somebody make wings with realistic profile and flaps like i do usually)) only wish you've made them flexible.
P.s. just started on tu-114 too. It's my favourite airliner
Also you should change the way the tail goes and change the turning radius of the front gear 45*
How this went unnoticed wow
