Object 718 TMP is a prototype tank developed from the old Crusader design with a mix of Dai Maou electronic equipment, TMP or I read it "TeMPe" is an abbreviation of (Tempur Menengah Purwarupa) "Medium Battle Prototype". As the name suggests, this is a prototype of a Medium Class MBT.

Objek 718 was named "Raden Mas Said" in honor of Prince Sambernyawa, an Indonesian national hero who was known for his struggle against VOC colonialism in the 18th century. Raden Mas Said, or better known as Pangeran Sambernyawa, is a symbol of courage, toughness and an unyielding spirit in defending Indonesia's independence from the hands of the VoC. In the 1740s to early 1750s, Raden Mas Said led persistent resistance against VOC rule in Central Java. He was known for his ability to organize troops, develop effective war strategies, and bravery on the battlefield. His resistance was not only focused on military strength, but also on efforts to maintain the morale and fighting spirit of his people. His courage and leadership succeeded in inspiring many people and etched his name in history as one of Indonesia's greatest heroes.
