@PhilipTarpley Yup, I'm actually writing my own program to convert a .OBJ file to a SimplePlanes XML file. So far it's not getting the parts aligned to the face angles correctly, so that's where I'm currently stuck.
Someone has likely already asked you, but I'm guessing you are writing a program to modify the XML files to achieve stuff like this? Very cool either way :)
I rolled this down the top of the mountain and it did not lose a single piece. I think it is beautiful.

You should build an actual craft with these. You could build something like a UFO by using super powerful modded engines, and take advantage of the fact that this sphere comes to a dead stop from 800 mph in about 1 second.
