EH Project - ISD
After a long time (for me) working on it, along with various frustrations, this is where the project is right now.
The 'Carillion' is mostly complete, needs to be detailed, windows ect.
Main weapons placements are correct according to the information I found on the interwebs.
They may not be correct, but I think they are close.
It flies, pretty well for what it is. I don't recommend trying to dogfight with it.
Do not remove the little wheel on the rear!
Suggested places to launch from;
Wright Airport
Wright Isles North
Yeager
Avalanche
Air launch
Inertia loves this ship. If you are headed down, it keeps wanting to go there even if it is in a nose up attitude.
It will pull out of a dive given enough height.
It is the same for rolling, once you get it started it is time to stop it.
Android users could consider this the finished version, just seal the hole in the upper hull and you have a complete ship.
Straight and Level flight for this is slightly nose up, due to the construction and placement of the cockpit. (I think I know where it is, but I'm not sure., it's been a while since I've thought about moving it.)
A lot of detail to be added as soon as I get past the stage where things can be mirrored from one side to the other.
The hole in the upper hull is there for ease of construction internally.
Main turrets modeled on shots from a YouTube clip I found.
If you want to use this a base for your own version, go right ahead. ;)
EDIT: just worked out this is roughly 1/8 scale (1/7.91 for those who want to be picky). The full size version is 1.6 km or an old fashioned Mile long.

Another update coming soonish, say a week or so.
My PC is starting to struggle a bit, what with the physical size and ever growing complexity of the build.
Down to the adding detail bit mostly and making sure of two things as I go;
a) nothing falls off it.
b) it is properly flyable, for a Star Ship that is.
Currently at just over 1000 parts and climbing upwards as I add detail.
I've added a system to help it pull out of a dive, more on that when I eventually post it. It's simple and it works.
@Stingray Yep, I went and had a look. Looks pretty nice.
Could be medium physics on my iPad. Don’t sweat it. The link I sent you was a competition winner for Doomsday air/space ships, which I also built on medium physics on an iPad. Just fyi. @Mickk
@Stingray Interesting.
I have only ever had it or previous versions blow up on me once or twice.
I felt stupid once I figured it out; the nose went up too high and the tail hit the ground causing it to go 'BOOM'. Placed a wheel on the rear and the problem was mostly fixed.
Since then, I haven't had it explode on me, except when random spawned aircraft collided with me on takeoff.
Has anyone else had this problem?
This thing blows up shortly after launch. Counter proposal: Use one of the very few working battlecruisers so far posted on SP. (Yes, it uses vtol for launch, has weapons and warp speed)
