The Libellule is available in two variants: the AC-M47B which cost 185.000.000 USD and the AC-M47E (Exportable variant) which cost 170.000.000 USD per unit.
The RFS will produce AC-M47B 100 units and more than 200 units of AC-M47E will be exported to other countries. The AC-M47E is different because some of Electro-optical infra red sensor has been retired on it comparatively to the AC-M47B which has two more of those sensors giving the pilot ability to lock a target without taking care of his position as long as the target is in his range. LAWSON DYNAMICS has made also a new generation of missiles compatible with 5th gen fighters (will be posted soon) and they are actually mounted on the Libellule.LWS-D produce (3)AC-M47B and (4)AC-M47E per day

Weapons configurations:

The weapon configuration presented here is the multirole one:

BAAM(4):Interceptor
LSAGM(2):Cleaver
SRAGM(4):Inferno

I’m impressed. The design is definitely 6th Gen...those jets, as this one, eliminate the vertical stab as a means of RCS reduction, so good design. Dynamics and flight model is great...it’s a little too fast for my taste, and the roll rate should be a little faster, but everything is close to being realistic...especially the turn rate. Interesting features here, like the realistic door actuation when firing missiles, I like that a lot. It could use more trim or trim separated from the flap controls. It’s very easy to land, which is great...no swerving on the runway and just set 18-20% thrust on final at 175 mph and land, nice! Overall, great fictional build, also, I noticed you changed the designator 😉

@BogdanX everyone in the RAF I have spoken to seems hopeful this will actually be made, especially since other countries have offered to join in on the project. I’m also hopeful that this will result in an actual combat aircraft rather than just an experiment. As regards to BVR combat, it’s talked about time and time again but there always ends up being “dogfights” for one reason or another. Either mistakes are made or rules are set in place like those for the Vietnam war. Either way, the future sure does seem interesting when it comes to combat planes.

@BogdanX whoa I had no idea the X-36 was so light! It didn’t look very heavy but that’s around the empty weight of the PA-28s I fly. I won’t look at that plane the same anymore hahaha. If you look at the newly proposed Tempest II for the RAF though, you’ll see it’s tails are fairly small for its size and if I remember correctly, it’s supposed to be very manoeuvrable. However, they’ve only just made mockups so things are bound to change as they almost always do.

@BogdanX I don’t play war thunder so I wouldn’t know what it’s like there, you seem to assume things a little fast and take everything as a personal attack lol. I specifically said I’m not saying you’re wrong but from reading and documentary watching, I heard that it could perform manoeuvres that were very good for jet aircraft of its time. Anyways, the plane also only crashed during the test flight because of engine failure (it caught fire) so it wasn’t so much to do with structural issues. The first one which crashed was also a glider and that was more of a crash landing due to pilot error. Also yes I know the Horton was developed for the 3x1000 requirements.
On to the other point you made, it does seem really weird that the new jets being developed have tails when their main goal is to be stealthy. Planes like the X-36 showed it was possible but maybe there is just too much risk or uncertainty.

@BogdanX I’m not saying you’re wrong but what about the Ho 229? This plane was designed as a fighter and by all accounts, it had fantastic manoeuvrability for a jet aircraft of its time. Understandably modern aircraft go through more Gs so they need something extra to stabilise them but how did this work on the Horton?

This is really cool! Flies pretty realistically and looks like it could be real as well. Very nicely made engines too.

Very nice. I love how it is fast but flies very well at slow speed - that makes it great for ground attack.
