GD-01 Aegis
Here's my take of the Aegis IV from the Raiden Fighters series.
The Aegis class fighter is the first turboprop fighter designed for the elite Gun Dog Squadron to fulfill a variety of demanding missions. It is well received by both pilots and commanders for its balanced attributes. So impressed by its performance, that the Government's force adapted the fighter for front line use, as the Aegis IIc.
Aegis IV is the fourth iteration of the design and the most advanced produced. It is equipped with a newer, more powerful engine, and its weapon system modernized. These upgrades ensure that the Aegis IV is ready to take on any foes that the Dictator's forces throw at it.
Out of all the planes from Raiden Fighters, this, for some reason, was the most difficult plane to get airborne. It must be the combination of high pusher mount plus a delta wing design. I really wanted to install a lifting canard, but that'd deviate from the original design too much. I also realized that the original drawing had all the control surfaces on the outboard wing. The elevator was placed in the inner wing, because I simply couldn't get this plane to lift in earlier builds. I intend to correct this error in a more detailed build. But for now, I am content with how this plane flies.
