History: The Aerostyle Aviation AA-1999AE (AE=Aerobatic) was designed to compete in local races and acrobatic shows. It sat one pilot under a bubble-styled canopy that could be jettisoned in the event of an in-air accident. The aircraft's seat was also made to eject if the pilot needed (it shot the seat out of the aircraft using pistons and hydraulics). It could either be equipped with a 200hp engine, a 250hp engine, or a 400hp engine. The aircraft had a great roll rate but medium pitching capabilities.
