Yakovlev Yak-15 Feather
7,221 Atokad
3.2 years ago
The Yak-15, NATO name Feather, is a jet fighter developed by the Yakovlev in the USSR. This is the first operational jet aircraft to serve the USSR and was developed from the piston Yak-3. The plane used a captured Jumo 004 engine and swapped the piston out for this. This explains the strange design as this was a simple way to swap the engine from a piston.
