Je vous presente un prototype sorti du livre " Soviet Secret Projects Fighters Since 1945 "

Les premiers essais de Sukhoi OKB en matière de conception d’avions à réaction ont été réalisés
bien avant la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale , en l’occurrence dès octobre 1942 .
A cette époque , les efforts de Pavel Sukhoi visaient principalement à augmenter la vitesse
de pointe des chasseurs soviétiques , notamment en tentant de fabriquer des chasseurs à piston
renforcé par un moteur à réaction (comme le Su-5 piloté en avril 1945). Ce projet plutôt
étrange , était en réalité un avion de recherche sans armement . Il consistait en un avion
tout en métal avec une prise d'air annulaire entourant le fuselage derrière un cockpit en forme de larme .
La partie avant abritait à la fois le cockpit et un réservoir de carburant et était reliée à la section du
fuselage central de plus grand diamètre . Le fuselage central contenait un moteur à refroidissement par air
et des hélices jumelles servant de compresseur d’air . Suivait la section d’injection de carburant du
moteur à réaction et enfin la chambre de combustion réalisée sous la forme d’un tube conique .
L'aile avait deux longerons et comprenait une section centrale , construite d'un seul tenant avec le fuselage .
Il y avait deux réservoirs de carburant dans les ailes .

I present you a prototype out of the book "Soviet Secret Projects Fighters Since 1945"

Sukhoi OKB's first tests for jet aircraft design have been completed
well before the end of the Second World War, in this case as early as October 1942.
At that time, Pavel Sukhoi's efforts were mainly aimed at increasing speed
of Soviet fighters, including attempting to make piston fighters
reinforced by a jet engine (like the Su-5 piloted in April 1945). This project rather
strange, was actually an unarmed search plane. It consisted of an airplane
all metal with an annular air intake surrounding the fuselage behind a teardrop-shaped cockpit.
The front part housed both the cockpit and a fuel tank and was connected to the section of the
central fuselage of larger diameter. The central fuselage contained an air-cooled engine
and twin propellers serving as air compressors. Followed the fuel injection section of the
jet engine and finally the combustion chamber made in the form of a conical tube.
The wing had two spars and included a central section, built in one piece with the fuselage.
There were two fuel tanks in the wings.
