"Dragonfly" [prototype]
"Drangonfly"[prototype]
An experimental aircraft that flies by " Flapping" It's wings, much like a bird or a dragonfly. It doesn't have any engines and doesn't use any fuel (ignore the booster strapped to the belly). For the same reason it can fly for ever.
Controls are really simple. Pith for pitch up and down, Roll for Rolling aircraft left and right. Throttle to flap the wings. And it doesn't use a gyroscope. AG2 for lights.
Take off and Landing instructon
1) Normal Take off and landing
Engage throttle to 100% and wait till it reaches above 100km/h speed and pitch up.
For landing line up and kill throttle close to the runway and glide(keep an eye on aircraft speed). Don't brake too quickly, it will tip over.
2) Quick take off and landing
Keep throttle at 0. Activate AG3 to engage booster. Slowly pitch up and wait till the booster is ejected. Slowly increase throttle.
For quick landing or incase of other emergencies Activate AG1 for parachute.
The aircraft will keep pitching down. So you will have to compensate with pitch. Keeping trim all the way down may help. It all so slightly yaws to sides during normal take off, so adjust with Yaw.
