Talon Skyfall: Platinum Viper
"Strike 'em dead!"
- Some dude getting air support
"This bad boy can fit so many missiles on it"
- Captain
The 1987 Talon Skyfall is a vicious light fighter entering service in the latter half of the 1980s. With the rapid advancement of technology, the Talon company found that the aircraft would have to be upgraded to surpass competing military contractors such as Crossfire and Metella, and they delivered: throughout the 90s to the current day, the Skyfall remains a highly successful fighter used by all four countries of the UKA.
Please read below for tips on landing the aircraft
The Skyfall, due to its narrow landing gear, is prone to exploding upon landing. In order to land safely and properly do the following:
- Come in for a relatively flat landing, with your horizon line horizontal to the horizon
- Use both your airbrake and flaps to reduce your speed, adjusting both to land at a safe speed
- Let off on the airbrake and maximize the wing flaps just before the touchdown
- 0.5 seconds after touchdown, lift your airbrake and pull brakes to maximum to slow the aircraft to a stop
