Originally designed to be the beginning to a new aircraft, the XF-08 performed better than expected and became the HiMAD (Highly Maneuverable Aircraft Demonstrator). HiMAD is now used as research for newer aircraft based on it's maneuverability. Press to G6 to eject and G7 to deploy parachute after ejecting. And yes, this plane is inspired by the real-life HiMAT.
