Despte this, Lancer decoded they neede another plane. And so the L14.01 Hailstorm was born. It was forst rolled out of the factory in Pinewood in 1952, seeing great success everywhere in the war. The Navy edition was the most common, stationed on most carriers throughout the war. The 1954 redesign made it even more popular, but the L1.01 warrior still outnumbered it 2:1.
