Functional Airspeed Indicator...and a Plane too

Auto Credit Based on BenSkyWalker's bf.1oh-no 2
Functions using the drag on a wing to push a sloped piece through the panel to give airspeed, totally reliable, very customizable. Not quite like the last design I made, but far more practical for anyone wanting to use it. (please do try it, no need to credit, reverse build it.. etc., do with it as you please) White mark for flap range(vtol down), Red for stall or overspeed, Yellow for Caution(either near stall or overspeed, and Green for normal flight. Hope it's helpful for people who love making cockpits, I will upload the gauge as a variation.

@ChiChiWerx in all truth, it’s certainly not a new concept by any means, This all started when I saw a stall warning light design, which covered the light if you traveled fast enough, and thought it could be used to do more. I simply wanted the ability to let the plane tell you how it needs to fly. My attempts to make gears work for my other gauge has provided me nothing but frustration and irregular results, but this simple thing works every time. If I could make a needle spin with this I would, but I’m all out of ideas, this was the best compromise to get that steam gauge look but still be functional and reliable.
Great insight on this. The realization that the wing generates drag when moving and thus a push force was something everyone else had missed.
@CRJ900Pilot i suppose the number of parts depends on how detailed you want the gauge really, and yes the range can be changed by increasing the spring resistance or messing with the wing mass or drag for fine adjustment. I posted the gauge by itself as a successor to this build, if the size is not right I could scale and link an unlisted variant if needed.
Interesting!
Three questions though:
1- How many parts?
2- Could you make a few differently scaled versions (both smaller and larger than this one)
3- Could range of speed be changed (say a much higher over speed for a jet)
