McDonnell-Douglas Model 265
Well guys, here is another of my constructions. Enjoy! From what I've searched, the information on this plane is really very scarce
It was a mid to late 1970s project by McDonnell Douglas. Model 265-1. The design was carried out as part of the AFTI (Advanced Fighter Technology Integration) program, so sometimes this designation is also attached to the project designation. But there are other options: VLF - Vectored Lift Fighter or AMDA-Advanced Maneuver Aircraft Demonstrator. The letter "VLF" refers to the very concept of the design of the maneuverable aircraft of McD-D
The 265th was created as a multipurpose light fighter with high maneuverability, which was provided by a mass of deviated surfaces in horizontal and vertical planes. Naturally, there was a fem on the plane. Engines: two General Electric YJ101 (predecessor of General Electric F404), which provide a light vehicle with a thrust ratio of 1.6. The plane is 13.84 m long and has a wingspan of 9.36 m.

@Typicalbuilder Gestour made a vapor cone mod, but I don't know how well it works nowadays and it's obviously not available on mobile.
@JoeriV thanks! :D
How can a jet look like it's both form the 50's and the 21st century at the same time? Very cool that you made this one!
@FatEgg thanks :)
@MailboxIsMyGender no problem!, I think there is only one video that talks about this plane, which shows that it was only a model
@emanuelga I'll post something special tomorrow
@XayIndustrys thank you very much for the upvotes :)
@Mustang51 YEEEEEY
Just four more upvotes till gold!
This used to be on the banner for Secret Projects Forum. It looks awesome!!!!
Why do i always look an experimental plane as a normal plane, pass on that great job making it fly and looks almost like the real thing
@BaconRoll thanks :)
Hot
@Falkenwut what a coincidence xd
reminds me of the PZL-230F skorpian... only bigger...
@Typicalbuilder yeesh
Now we just need SP to add an effect when you break the sound barrier( plus the sonic boom)
