B-6 B-Wing

I AM FEATURED???? THANK YOU SO MUCH!! :D 07/01/2021

Link to New Version with improved flight performance
If you still have this one, I recommend trying out the new one, it's much easier to fly :)

The B-Wing, one of my favorite Star Wars fighters among the X-Wing and the TIE Defender. There are 2 main variants of the B-Wing to my knowing, the SF-01 and its prototype. I decided to make the prototype B-6 variant because it’s very unique in its design compared to a production B-Wing, and because of its insanely powerful composite-beam laser. The B-6 Blade Wing as flown by Hera Syndulla was built by the Mon Calamari named Quarrie, and would be the basis for the the production SF-01 variant used by the rebel alliance after the battle of Yavin. The B-Wing features a “pod” cockpit, whereby the entirety of the fuselage could rotate as the pilot stays level, as well as a heavy set of armaments.

This planes has many functional features, such as:

  • Landing Gears
  • S-Foils
  • Laser Cannons
  • Ion Cannon
  • Composite Laser Beam
  • Proton Torpedos [Rockets & Missiles]
  • Inertial Dampers [Gyroscope]
  • Vertical Take Off
  • Rotating Controls
  • Rotating Fuselage

*Missiles have limited range of 2 km or 1.2 miles
*Composite Laser Beam has a minimum range of 3 km or ~1.9 miles

It also features some cool details:

  • Markings based on prototype B6 flown by Hera Syndulla as seen on Rebels
  • Yellow & red engine afterburner
  • Internal Cockpit
  • Gunner View
  • Realistic Design

AG1: Main Laser Cannon (1st red light in cockpit)
AG2: Ion Cannon (blue light in cockpit)
AG3: Composite Laser Beam (2nd red light in cockpit)
AG4: Cockpit Light
AG5: Rotator (1st yellow light in cockpit)
AG6: Align Cockpit (2nd yellow light in cockpit)
AG7: S-Foils (3rd yellow light in cockpit)
AG8: Toggle Stabilizer and VTOL Engines (4th yellow light in cockpit)
Gears: Landing Gear (Green Light in Cockpit)
Flight: Normal Controls
VTOL: Fly Up/Down

INSTRUCTIONS
Push the VTOL slider up for the plane to take off, once in the air, click AG6 to align your cockpit.
Increase your throttle and click AG8 to deactivate the stabilizer.
Click AG5 if you’re a good pilot, don’t use it if you don’t want to be frustrated.
When landing, slow down to around 350 mph and rotate your plane to the horizontal position, then click AG8 for VTOL controls. In this mode, your Yaw, Roll and Pitch are very weird, it takes time to get used to.

SUGGESTION
Do not dogfight, you can kill TIEs from long range, but do not dogfight

CAUTION
Landing is hard...

The force will be with you, always.

@Yeeturmom the smaller beams are miniguns with a maxed rounds/second (1E+38) and maxed muzzle velocity (1E+38) and also 0 damage, then I adjusted the bullet scale to make it long enough. The main beam is made of several miniguns in front of the plane which I scaled down to almost invisible. They have a muzzle velocity of 100000 and a rounds/sec of 1E+38. The damage is 50000. Here's an image of the settings for the smaller beam and the main beam

@MrADS Wow. It takes me a week to build something that looks like a dumpster fire lol. Very good for a two day build!

These are by far the best Star Wars planes on the site. Also the easiest to fly. Ps how did you make the composite laser?

@TrojanAerospaceSystems I think this took me about 2 days? Not fully 48 hours tho, I did do other things.

This B-wing is probably the 1st or 2nd best plane I have ever flown. It never causes any lag because I play on mobile.

@MAHADI the 4 smaller beams are just miniguns with 0 damage, extreme high muzzle velocity and max rounds/sec (1E+38), the main beam is made of 4 miniguns in front of the plane (scaled down size) with high rounds/sec (1E+38) and a muzzle velocity of 100000, the damage I set on each was 50000. After testing, anything above that speed can't actually hit a target.
