After the success of the HF-321C, the engineerers of FCE decided that it could use an upgrade. After some time of tinkering and planning, they finally came up with the HF-322. The main features boasted by the Three Twenty Two were its Raedon Nuclear Bomb developed by Elite Arsenals, and an upgrade to the pitch, an idea from fellow developer Giggitymerf. Continuing to boast it's 12 gun, 4 bomb, 4 missile, 14 rocket armament, the 322 continued the HF line without sacrificing any previous aspect. Preliminary tests showed excellent results; however, due to it being a heavy fighter, it performed poorly in field testing when it came to assaulting convoys in mountainous terrain as it couldn't accelerate quickly after a strafe and would take some damage from flak cannons. This is an issue the the developers at Flame Crafted Engineering hoped to fix with the upcoming HF-323...
