An air superiority and interceptor jet aircraft that has been developed to carry many air to air missiles and reach a top speed of around 1200 MPH at 10k feet. Although it doesn't look it, the lightning is extremely maneuverable and retains it's energy well but can sometimes feel heavily unstable and may fall into a flat spin which can be recovered easily.

@Pyotr12 Somewhat yes, I based it off the English Electric Lightning primarily which is why it carries the same name, the idea was to build something close to the original aircraft and then improve on it to make it better suited for air superiority.
