AMM ARC-01D Firefly
Designer: ATLAS Military Motors (1936)
Year of Introduction: 1942
Role: high speed aggressive reconnaissance/light bomber
The ARC-01D was a conversion of a naval bomber designed to operate in rough terrain. It featured fixed landing gear, and air brakes, while retaining the bomb bay and rear gunner, and had an extra forward facing machine gun. The Firefly was mostly used in the aggressive reconnaissance role, gathering valuable intel while engaging ground targets. The ARC-01 had the ability to land pretty much anywhere flat enough.

Review
Very speedy for a Reconnaissance aircraft. It has good acceleration and a decent engine. The aircraft can take off at low speeds and land very quickly thanks to the airbrakes. It generally handles well, and the machine gun is a very neat addition on the rear. However, the gears are too close to the propeller, making any rough landing a blade strike, or sometimes even the complete destruction of the craft. It needs better suspension and more distance of the propeller to the ground
@ThomasRoderick Yep
@AtlasMilitaryIndustries Noticed! Give me a moment, I am currently in class
@AntiAirNuri I just added the turret controls. I forgot to add those.
