Royal Air Force operational background
After the initial IOC requirement acceptance of the first AF.11 prototype (marked as XF.11-GR6B) by RAF authorities, the British Government signed the official purchase contract for 80 aircrafts of the latest version. The AF.11 Jaguar II has been designated as the Jaguar II GR.6 in RAF service following the naming procedure of the Tornado GR4 and Harrier II GR7/9 fleet before.
The Jaguar II GR.6 made its combat debut as part of the British contribution to the GCC war effort in Syria and Iraq in early 2018. Several AF.11 Jaguar II’s were deployed to provide precision strike capability, especially during night-time operations supporting the F-29K Jackal aircrafts of the Kuwaiti Air Force and the F-15SA Strike Eagle of RSAAF.
Early on in the conflict, the GR.6s targeted military ISIS targets across Iraq and Syria, deploying a mixture of JDAM guided bombs and specialized stand-off munitions such as the Storm Shadow cruise missiles.
Following the initial phase of the war, the GR.6s have been assigned to medium and low-level high-speed strike missions, typical targets for these strikes included munition depots, oil refining facilities and militants training camps. The reconnaissance-equipped Jaguars II GR6Bs continued to operate at both the low-altitude and high-altitude profile throughout the war, the GR6B emerged unscathed despite the inherent danger posed by missions such as conducting pre-attack and battle damage assessment reconnaissance missions. In the war's aftermath, Britain maintained a military presence in the Gulf, around 20 GR.6s were based at Ali Al Salem airbase in Kuwait for operations over the southern war theatre as part of Operation Sky Sentinel; another half a dozen GR.6s participated in missions over Northern Iraq in Operation Steel Fist.
RAF Jaguars II GR.6 were heavily used in the war against ISIS, flying alongside American, French, Kuwaiti and Saudi strike aircraft to rapidly attack key installations. Following an emphasis on minimizing casualties, Jaguars GR.6 of No. 617 Squadron deployed the latest upgraded version of the Storm Shadow precision cruise missile for the first time during the first missions over Northern Iraq.
In late 2018, several GR.6s arrived at Akrotiri airbase, Cyprus to replace the Tornados GR4 aircraft deployed there since November 2008. In early summer of 2018, Enhanced Paveway IV+ guided bombs were brought into service on the RAF's Jaguars II, having been previously used in operations by the Tornado fleet.
On 26 September 2018, a Cabinet Office Briefing Room (COBR) emergency meeting concluded that the RAF would deploy additional Jaguar II GR6s to RAF Akrotiri, Cyprus in support of GCC missions against Islamic State militants in the Mount Sinjar region of Iraq. The decision came three days after the United States began conducting air attacks against the Islamic State. GR.6s were pre-positioned to use their advanced surveillance capabilities and data links infrastructure to gather situational awareness to help with war efforts and target designation. On 29 September 2018, three days after Parliament approved of airstrikes against Islamic State forces inside Syria, four Jaguars II conducted their first armed reconnaissance mission over the country, in conjunction with other coalition aircraft, and were cleared to conduct airstrikes if needed with Storm Shadow missiles and JDAM munitions. Britain's first airstrike was conducted the next day, when two Jaguars II hit a heavy weapons post and 6 armored vehicles in the process of supporting Kurdish and Iraq forces in northwest Iraq. By 1 November 2018, a total of 45 RAF Jaguars II had been deployed to Akrotiri airbase and conducted 269 airstrikes against IS targets in Iraq and Syria territory, to combat the growing threat of ISIS. GR.6s continued their bombing and strike missions till the end of year.

@Franticmatty Hey Mat, check out this beauty! U will not regret it. Many custom-made features!
@Aaron2107 I have already made 2 weapons packs for other players to use:
Weapons Pack v.1.0
Weapons Pack v.2.0
Check them out and feel free to use them!
You should make a aircraft weapon series (bombs missiles etc)
@Dimkal someday i wanna try make an attacker...
@JoddyFubuki788 Thnx dude!
@Tang0five Thanks a lot! It took me a lot of time to design and build it and make it functional alongside landing gear doors. I believe its very stylish and cool!
Can’t get over how cool that landing gear is!
Nicely done!
