USS Lexington Shuttle

One of the USS Lexington's type 85 shuttles, used for planetary excursions and short to medium range missions. Starfleet pilots are advised to take special care when piloting the type 85 inside a planets atmosphere. Pilots should use manuvering thrusters to gain at least 1,000 feet altitude before pulling the VTOL controls back and the trim controls forwards for intraplanetary flight. The type 85 is fitted with type XI forward phaser arrays as well as micro torpedoes. All starfleet personnell are reminded of the dangers of using warp drive inside a solar system.
