The second factory built varient of the C Series, also bearing the S tag, since is uses radar reflective paint to deflect radar. The Thunderbolt Palmer company began this design along side the fighter varient C1A-S, but replaced the detachable fuel cells with twin 1000lb bombs, and left the twin 12.7 mm MG's to protect itself against fighter attacks. The company also partially addressed the difficulties with the pitch control and the elevators, slightly increasing the width of the elevators by 2 10ths of an inch inwardly and widened the elevators by 5 centimeters. The Thunderbolt company also began development of the C3 varient, but the first prototype suffered stress issues with the added weight of two more 1000lb bombs and wider structural wings
