The F-15 Eagle is a twin-engine air superiority fighter from the US aircraft manufacturer McDonnell Douglas (part of Boeing since 1997). As the classification already implies, it was designed to establish and maintain air superiority in the event of a conflict. In this role, it almost completely replaced the F-4 Phantom over time. The F-15 has itself since been partially replaced by the F-22 Raptor, which was built until 2011. Significant further developments are the F-15E Strike Eagle, which was equipped with extensive air-to-ground armament to become a multi-role combat aircraft, and the further improved F-15EX Eagle II, which is based on the F-15QA developed for Qatar and has been in the pipeline for the US Air Force since 2021. With a speed of around 1300 km/h. On 1 the cockpit can be opened, on 2 the ladder can be lowered, on 4 the light can be turned on, on 5 the bombs can be dropped, on 6 the wings can be folded, on 7 the air brake can be used, on 8 the turbines are activated.
