Glider - fly by cable (winch)

I wanted to test whether the cables on the winches could be used to mechanically control control surfaces, and its seems they do reasonable well. Next would be to test them under a good amount of stress - maybe a bi-plane.
This has a pusher prop if need be and can be launched from the carrier catapult (for fun).
TRIM for TRIM (normally about near first notch up) and VTOL has YAW trim (not really needed for the most part).
No gyros used.
Credit to IzzyIA for the 90 degree joint used on the ailerons.

Pls revisit this concept
I did have it connected originally, however when pitching roll was effected and visa versa. It wasn't huge but it was apparent. This was the solution for this build. There is probably a way to get this working without the attachment 'magic'...
@ThePrototype
Also I would like to see everything attached to the stick and not in sepertate pieces. The second piece used for roll is what I'm talking about. It just needs to look natural, sadly this doesn't. Also that part clips but collision is turned off. Sorry for the criticism but I had to point some things out.
But I did notice some things work but they shouldn't really, the mechanism you used to stop roll from messing with pitch shouldn't really work. You have pieces of it clipping out when it shouldn't move. It's the universal joint you have to try and negate the effects that is clipping out out itself. So I noticed that. But otherwise nice build.
I love this :)
This is a spectacularly great build. Usually builds with mechanical linkages/control surfaces look very clunky, and often are slightly disappointing in performance. This build looks fantastic and flies incredibly well. Your skills never cease to amaze me!
I like this idea!
Wow works really well!
Glides more like a brick though but I guess that’s not the point XD
Cool
Thanks! @SpiritusRaptor
Thanks, I"ll try out your glider via catapult!!!
@Cardboard
I love this so much!
I actually built the first carrier catapult glider a little while ago, it can be found here
cool
Very beautiful work. Happy flights
Great job!
@ThomasRoderick "No Foul language" As stated in the Rules @Tully2001
This is a whole new level of creativity...
I love it. Also great use of the universal joint.
Wow
@SpiritusRaptor Always exploring the limits of game mechanics, I see. Although, this seems pretty darn cool to work with.
Yeet. Keep it up!!! You should make an autogyro.😀
